One of my favourite pieces in this book is by Eve Tuck titled “Losing Patience for the Task of Convincing Settlers to Pay Attention to Indigenous Ideas”. Tuck reminds us that #decolonization is not a metaphor that can be delinked from “the #rematriation of Indigenous #land and life”
The further I delve into the experiences of Latin America, I find struggles over land, fights with multinationals, environmental desecration, court battles. Every indigenous community and group, wherever it is, has issues with the state, and terms like indigenous and state flatten out the differences, so I am wary here
